Embark on a day excursion to explore the breathtaking Albanian Riviera, renowned for its pristine beaches, captivating landscapes, and awe-inspiring vistas. Discover the enchanting Blue Eye, a natural reserve showcasing a mesmerizing spring nestled amidst verdant surroundings, offering a truly magical experience.
Departing Tirana at the dawn we head to the South of Albania , we will get to the city where the Adriatic and Ionian Sea touch together : Vlora, the city of independence. We will pass by the beautiful coastal town and have a short stop for pictures or even a short snack or coffee break.
After the city of Vlora we head further South passing by the Llogara National Park , where we will stop on a panoramic point to enjoy the view of almost all Albanian Riviera from “the balcony” where also para-gliders fly off.
On the way we will pass by one of the most famous villages of the south for the summer time renowned for the beautiful beaches and a old village laying on the hill side
Our next stop is the small coastal city of Himara where we can use sometime to enjoy the beach and have some lunch.
Saranda is the last coastal city of the Albanian Riviera on our Journey , we can stop for some minutes to take pictures and visit the main promenade of the city from where you can see the Greek Island of Corfu.
One must traverse the verdant parkland to behold the grandeur of the “Blue Eye” spring – an awe-inspiring natural phenomenon and popular tourist attraction. The river’s crystalline depths can be viewed from more than fifty metres below, and the refreshingly clear blue waters are a sight to behold. The journey to the springs is well worth the fifteen-minute walk through nature’s finest.
